Trying to find the Best Desktop Computers?

We think we've found them. A top candidate for this classification must be the Dimension 8300 Series made by Dell. We have first-hand experience as I personally buy them for our offices at Redlaw to run this and other websites! Yup, you want the latest, the fastest, the best desktop computers. That's what I thought, just like me.

We certainly want to make sure we use the best desktop computers for running a business. We've tried a number of brands over the years (can't mention the names here as I have some nasty things to say about them!) but certainly Dell has shone through for us. Funny thing is, we didn't look at them for a long time as we thought they were too expensive. But they're certainly not which is why we use and recommend them as the best desktop computers around. They're amazing value for the quality build you get.

If you look at the Dimension 8300series in more detail, you'll find it is the most powerful desktop PC ever offered by Dell Dimension. It's got the latest Pentium 4 processor of course (with NetBurst micro-architecture and dual channel RDRAM if you happen to know what that means!) running up to 3.0Ghz. The 8300 has a new chassis from earlier models that we've bought and have a storm grey and Midnight Grey colour scheme which is quite cool (in both senses of the word) and is, in Dell's own words,  '...designed for people needing the best desktop computers that provide exceptional performance on today's high-end software while providing room to grow into tomorrow's more processor and memory intensive applications...'.

Buying the Best Desktop Computers

You can get virtually any hi-spec option you want simply by selecting or deselecting the hardware options. This is a great way of ensuring you get the best desktop computers - you are in control of what you get! So if you want a faster hard disk, much more memory, a huge monitor etc, it's yours to select, but don't get carried away - it all adds up pretty fast!
