Everybody wants Cheap Laptop Computers!
What is it about laptop
computers that makes them so desirable? Who knows, we just find
them irresistible. Cheap laptop computers are not that hard to find
but to be honest most of them are not worth the trouble. We've been
through some of the cheapest laptop computers on the market &
then some! We ended up buying cheap laptop computers from
Dell. We thought for ages before that, that Dell were quite
expensive, but they weren't (doh!).
Like everyone else we
want cheap laptop computers to save money, but we also want the
best quality. I think we've been very lucky finding Dell as they
offer the Inspiron range which Dell actually quote you can buy from
£799 for a laptop with a 2Ghz processor, and with 128M of RAM. There's
also a TFT screen, 20Gb hard drive, modem, DVD, Norton Anti-Virus
and Windows XP! That's what we call cheap laptop computers
and that's why we recommend them to anybody that asks (and we get
asked a lot for some reason)!

you WANT

the deals are that YOU specify what you want in terms of your hard
disk, RAM, DVD, screen size etc live online whilst instantly getting
a price update on-screen. Neat.

You can choose your
cheap laptop computersbased on whether you want:
- The latest laptop technologies at aggressive prices
- Stand-alone environments and optimal multimedia viewing
- Outstanding laptop style and usability
- Stability, high levels of manageability for use in Business
networks
- Long-term compatibility with present IT infrastructure
- Control of total cost of ownership
Well, that's what their
blurb says anyway. We bought them based on reviews we found like
the one at CNET which said:
" The bottom
line: The Inspiron 2600 series has the features you'd
expect in a budget notebook, along with the usual limits. But its
performance and battery life set it apart, making it one of our
top choices for students, home users, or small businesses.
CNET Rating: 8
out of 10 "
That's exactly what we
wanted to hear when looking for cheap laptop computers so that's
what we got. If you haven't yet experienced a 14.1" TFT laptop
screen then you're in for a treat. These we find are just so
much better than normal monitor screens and you'll find that this
size is actually a good deal bigger than a conventional 14"
monitor screen (don't ask). The quality is amazing and does not
deteriorate or ever get out of focus. Come to think of it THAT'S
why we like running laptops here so much!
Anyway, check either
of them out for yourselves. We think you'll get the right spec cheap
laptop computers you want by setting your own requirements. The
Dell site is easy to use and pretty informative. Buying doesn't
come any easier especially as you get an instant price update every
time you change or add something you want. - Lee

As an alternative, we've found Morgan
Computers to be pretty good on prices as they sell second-user
computers , often with near-new quality. We've had great feedback
on purchases as they are extremely competitive on prices.
