So what did your Gamecube come with? Well, the GameCube console comes with a UK 240V power cable, one controller and an AV cable to connect directly to your television. (If your TV doesn't have the red and white AV inputs you'll need a Scart or RF cable, see below.) So if you'd like to top up with some cool extras to make play even better, check out these accessories:

Memory card: it's not needed to play the games but if you want to save your game progress, settings, high scores etc, a Memory Card is a must. Previous Nintendo consoles either stored game info on the cartridges or gave you a password to access them, but the GameCube's software discs are read-only.

Extra controllers : many of the most popular GameCube games, such as Super Monkey Ball, Super Smash Bros Melee and Wave Race: Blue Storm, offer the greatest fun when they're played with or against a friend or three. You can plug up to four controllers into the front of the console, and with an extra lead, you'll be able to use your Game Boy Advance as a controller with some games.
