Want a Cheap Computer
with a Serious Specification?
Cheap PC's for sale
in the UK are pretty much found everywhere these days, even in our
local supermarkets! No doubt you've seen them there too. We've bought
many different brands in the past from various computer suppliers
and ended up with equipment that starts to fail after a matter of
only months. In fact I've bought a room full of desktop computers
and had the company supplying them go bust before the warranty period
was up!
Do you Want Quality Computers?
We
all want cheap desktops. But we also want quality desktop
computers. We've tried a number of different makes over the
years (I won't mention them here as I'd be quite rude about some
of them!) but Dell only recently became a contender when
I finally found out they weren't that expensive. I only found out
when we advertised a tender to supply a number of computers to us.
Since then we now use and recommend them as quality cheap
desktop computers in the UK.
They're amazing value for the quality build you get (I got one of
our engineers to take it apart before buying)!
Get the Cheap Computer you
WANT
Like everyone else we
want a cheap desktop (cos we just love to play with them!), want
to save money and also want the
best quality. We've made a good choice eventually buying the Dell
Dimension 2400 series which Dell quote you can buy from under £4oo
for a desktop with a 2.4Ghz Celeron Pentium 4 processor no less,
and with 128M of RAM AND a 17" monitor. Now that's what
we call cheap desktop computers and that's why we recommend them
to anybody that asks! (and we do get a lot of people asking).
What's unusual about
the deals are that YOU are able to specify what you want in terms
of your hard disk, RAM, DVD, monitor and everything else, live online
whilst instantly getting a price update on-screen. Cool. So you
can work to a specification or a price right there and then.
We bought our original
desktop PC's based on reviews we found like the one at Reviews.CNET
which said:
" Think
of the Dell Dimension 2300 series as the Honda Civic of computing.
The Dimension 2300, which replaces the 2200 and the SmartStep 150D,
won't turn any heads, but it offers the features that most people
need at budget prices, ranging from £599 (now much less!) upwards.
And like all Dimension PCs, you can customize the system to suit
your needs before you buy. CNET Rating: 7 out of 10 "
And that's exactly what
we wanted to hear when looking for good cheap desktop computers,
so that's what we got. Anyway, check them out for yourselves. We
think you'll get quality desktop computers you want and you
can set your own requirements, price or spec-wise. The Dell site
is easy to use and pretty informative and purchasing as expected
is really easy especially as you get an instant price update every
time you change or add a component.
