Championship Manager 4
|
The next generation of football management games, offering
more players, leagues and competitions than any other title.
For the first time ever in the series, Championship Manager
4 features a real-time 2D match engine enabling you to make
tactical decisions as the action unfolds. Watch the whole
90 minutes in real time or choose to view crucial match highlights. |
Command & Conquer: Generals

 |
The armies are the super powers of United States & China,
and a massive underground organisation, the Global Liberation
Army. EA is using a proprietary state-of-the-art 3D engine,
which delivers unprecedented detail & interactivity. Because
of this, C+C battlefields will include fully modelled urban
cityscapes, rugged deserts, vast forests & frozen
wastelands. Amazing special effects will allow players to
crush cars with hulking tanks, blow out the windows of skyscrapers,
or lace the skies with smoke from duelling fighter planes. |
Counter Strike:
Condition Zero
|
A new stand-alone game, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (CS:
CZ) extends the award-winning Counter-Strike multiplayer game
with new maps, weapons and more, while simultaneously introducing
new technologies, an extensive single-player campaign, and
cooperative play. Gearbox has created an extensive single-player
campaign that includes more than two-dozen new missions and
takes players to several fictitious regions of conflict around
the globe. In addition to the single-player campaign, players
will be able to set up cooperative games via Internet and
LAN connections. |
Deus Ex:
Invisible War
|
Deus Ex 2 takes place 20 years after the events in Deus
Ex. The winner-take-all geopolitics of mid-21st century Earth
have given way to a struggle over more basic concerns: food,
water, re-establishing civil law and cleaning up biological
and nano-tech fallout. Several religious and political factions
see in the chaos an opportunity to shape the world as they
want. The player must reveal the secrets of each faction and
the identities of the true players in this struggle for world
power. In the end, the player discovers that he or she may
be the key to all of the factions' plans. |
Doom III
 |
id Software has put a lot of effort into generating fear,
then backing it up with a cinematic feel for many of the monster
encounters. Several scenes were custom-crafted for this pupose
- a monster will tear right through a wall (dislodging pipes
as they go) or feed on a corpse as you watch. DOOM III will
definitely not be for the squeamish, as there is plenty of
blood and guts, and it's going to be just too realistic for
some people to handle. |
Enter the Matrix
|
Now's your chance to take the red pill for real and Enter
The Matrix--not simply a video game adaptation of the films
but a whole new chapter in the Matrix saga. Indeed, the best
thing about Enter The Matrix is the way it seamlessly connects
with the three films, for although it's based on none of them
directly, it allows you to play the role of either Niobe or
Ghost (minor characters from The Matrix Reloaded) while running
into the likes of Neo, Morpheus and Agent Smith as the game's
story unfolds. |
Grand Theft Auto:
Vice City
|
You take control of Tommy Vercetti who gets involved in
a bungled drug deal and must set himself up from scratch as
a crime boss. Unlike in GTA III, you're not restricted to
being a small-time hood any more; the game now allows you
to purchase property (porn studios, strip clubs, cab companies
and so on) and run extortion rackets. This cleverly widens
the scope of the game while keeping the controls and gameplay
pretty much the same. |
Half-Life 2
|
Pistol-packing research scientist and scourge of the Xen,
scientist Gordon Freeman is back in the eagerly awaited sequel
to the first-person shooter Half Life. In Half Life 2 Gordon
is again humanity's only hope against a whole sea of alien
trouble as he joins up with another scientist Eli Vance and
his daughter Alyx, in a mission is to save the world from
being overrun by the Xen invaders. It seems that the incident
at Black Mesa was just the tip of the iceberg and now the
aliens have spread like a virus across the planet leaving
death and destruction in their wake. It's up to you to set
things right. |
Hidden & Dangerous II

 |
The explosion sends shivers up your spine as the deafening
sound temporarily causes you to lose focus. Did they make
it out? Countless thousands of lives depend upon your team,
the Special Operations Executive, destroying this airfield.
You've eliminated dozens of the enemy, outmanoeuvred land
mines, and covertly planted the detonators. But did they make
it out? -
Game Guide Avail - |
Rise Of Nations
|
The game's focus is spread over some 6,000 years, with numerous
scenarios pitching you initially into the midst of ancient
history and ultimately bringing events right up to date. In
each scenario, several skills are at times aggressively tested;
there's the need for diplomacy, the odd bit of combat, resource
management and trading. In short, pretty much the staple diet
of most strategy games. |
Sim City 4
|
Create and control the most life-like metropolis you can
imagine. Form mountains, carve valleys, plant forests and
raise oceans. New landscape creation features give you unprecedented
control to lay the groundwork for your ultimate city.
Experience life - from mellow traffic flow to commuter hell,
noontime crowds to nighttime calm, partygoers to troublemakers. |
The Sims Deluxe (the Sims + Livin' it
Up)
|
Create, direct and manage the lives of SimCity's residents.
Each need (e.g., Hunger, Comfort, Hygiene) can be met by interacting
with other Sims or objects.
The Sims--Livin' It Up expansion pack has more swings and
bells on it than a Christmas tree in a castle, and of course
in true Sims style all this is possible. The range of new
gadgets and gizmos to play with is just as impressive. |
The Sims: On Holiday
|
Take your Sims where they've never been before: on a family
vacation. Whether they've been working hard or livin' large,
going downtown or partying down, your Sims deserve a break.
From a sun-drenched beach to a snow-filled wonderland to a
forest campground, Vacation Island offers a wide range of
fun new activities for your Sims. |
The Sims Unleashed
|
The fifth add-on pack for the biggest selling PC game of
all time, allows computing's most popular virtual families
to add a range of animals to their households. There's a good
variety of pets to choose from, and whilst felines and canines
are likely to be the more popular options, there's little
to stop you adding something more exotic like a lizard to
your world. |
The Sims: Superstar
|
Again requiring the original game in order to play, this
add-on pack adds the function to watch your Sims at work,
in this case attempting to make themselves famous. This naturally
opens up numerous new pads for your characters to inhabit,
laden with copious luxuries. Specialised staff can be introduced
too, just to give your virtual stars a bit of extra pampering,
and new career paths can see them become over-the-top rock
stars, supermodels or movie idols. They also enjoy levels
of success--successful Sims will attract groupies and win
awards. Less successful ones may have to live without the
sushi chef. |
Star Trek:
Elite Force 2
|
Now set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation universe,
players can expect to face off against classic antagonists
such as the Borg, Klingons and Romulans. Players will also
fight several never before seen alien species including a
mysterious nightmare race. To help players gain the upper
hand against such formidable foes, players can arm themselves
with 13 different weapons and gear including a phaser, compression
rifle, multi-functional grenade launcher, Romulan disruptor,
tetryon gatling gun, a full-featured tricorder, and several
all-new weapons. |
Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness

|
A series of grisly murders brings Lara into conflict with
a sinister Alchemist from the past and a secret alliance of
powerful individuals shrouded in mystery. Accused of the murder
of her one-time mentor, Werner von Croy, Lara becomes a fugitive
on the run. Pursued by the police, she follows the Alchemist
into a dark world of blood, betrayal and vengeance where it
is up to her to defeat this unholy alliance, and stop them
from unleashing their incredible powers on the world. |
Unreal II: The
Awakening
 |
An intense gaming experience that immerses players in an
epic story-driven adventure featuring superb graphics. You're
patrolling a sector of the frontier with three crew members
when an interstellar war erupts about you! Rumours of powerful
and ancient alien artefacts have driven rival factions to
war in an attempt to find and control the objects. You must
locate these artefacts, determine their purpose and restore
order to the sector - before it's too late. |
